Navy won the game 44–28, its third straight bowl win. Reynolds finished the game with 144 rushing yards and three touchdowns, 126 passing yards and one touchdown through the air. He also caught a pass for 47 yards.
Reynolds originally set the touchdown record during the Army vs. Navy game, reaching 85 for his career. The mark was passed one week later by Louisiana Tech running back Kenneth Dixon. Reynolds reclaimed first-place on the list with his third rushing touchdown Monday.
Reynolds passed famed scramblers Pat White and Denard Robinson for the rushing yards by a quarterback record, having now run for over 4,518 yards in his career.
Reynolds has run for over 1,000 yards in each of the last three seasons. The senior has run for at least 10 touchdowns in every year of his career, and at least 20 in each of the last three.
