Notre Dame’s Will Fuller scored on an 81-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of Friday’s Fiesta Bowl to cut Ohio State’s lead to 38–27.

On the Irish’s first drive of the fourth quarter, DeShone Kizer hit Fuller on a curl on the right side of the field. Fuller turned and burst past Buckeyes defensive back Gareon Conley, who dove and missed a tackle. Fuller took off into the open field and went untouched into the end zone.

Notre Dame would kick the extra point to make the deficit 38–28 with 11:27 to play.

The 81-yard score is the second-longest passing play in Fiesta Bowl history.
