Four-star cornerback Lavert Hill committed to Michigan on Wednesday, according to Scout.com.
The Detroit, Mich., native choose the Wolverines over Penn State and in-state rival Michigan State. Hill had been committed to Penn State for most of 2015, but opened up his recruitment in November.
He is the seventh-ranked cornerback and 97th overall player in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com.
Hill helped lead King High School to a 14–0 record and state championship this season. He was a 2016 U.S. All-America selection.
Hill is the 26th commitment in Michigan’s 2016 recruiting class.
