USC AD Pat Haden collapses outside athletic building
USC Trojans athletic director Pat Haden collapsed and had to receive medical attention on Wednesday, the school confirmed.
He was discharged from County USC medical center in the afternoon, according to Lindsey Thiry of the LA Times.
Haden has a history of medical issues. He collapsed on the sideline of a Trojans football game at Notre Dame in October of last year, and was taken to a local hospital before returning to California. Haden was also reportedly hospitalized twice in August 2014 for undisclosed reasons.
USC announced earlier this month that Haden, who has been the schools’s athletic director since 2010, would retire from the position at the end of June.
