Under Armour and UCLA have signed a 15-year shoe and apparel contract that is worth a record-breaking $280 million, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.

The deal surpasses the 15-year contract between Ohio State and Nike that is reportedly worth $252 million. The Texas Longhorns also have a $250 million deal with Nike over 15 years.

UCLA has been an Adidas school since 1999.

The Bruins last won a national championship in basketball in 1995 and last earned a national title in football in 1954. 

In December, the men's water polo team finished the season 30–0 as it captured its second consecutive national title. The men's and women's volleyball teams have also won multiple national titles in the last 10 years. No school has won more NCAA championships than UCLA's 113.

Cal also signed a long-term contract with Under Armour last month.
