BYU and Arizona meet to open their respective college football seasons with a Saturday night tilt at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

This is the 23rd meeting between the two teams, with Arizona leading the series 12–9–1. BYU brings in a new coaching staff, with Bronco Mendenhall off to Virginia, and some questions as to what this new team will look like. Oft–injured veteran quarterback Taysom Hill is back again for what will likely be his last season, at age 26.

Arizona will lean on running back Nick Wilson and likely quarterback Anu Solomon, who has been fighting for the starting job after handling duties last season.
