Georgia and North Carolina meet in Week 1 as college football gets underway, pitting two ranked teams head to head in an early matchup.

The Bulldogs enter ranked No. 18 in the nation in what is technically a neutral site game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, where Georgia is an unofficial home team. Georgia running back Nick Chubb makes his return from last year’s devastating knee injury. After three torn knee ligaments, Chubb’s comeback will have a big impact on how far the Bulldogs go this season. New head coach Kirby Smart is set to make his debut.

North Carolina won 11 games last season, reaching the ACC title game, but struggled against Baylor in their bowl game. Carolina should remain near the top of the ACC and can add a strong resume win on Saturday.
