Expect big passing numbers when California goes on the road to take on Washington State.

The two teams have some of the most prolific offenses in the nation, with Cal and Washington State ranking second and third, respectfully, in passing attempts this season.

The Cougars rolled over Arizona last week 69–7 last week and face a Cal team that has lost three of its past four games. Last week, the Bears lost 66–27 to Washington, allowing 704 total yards.

The last time these team played in Pullman, they set an FBS-record 1,261 passing yards in Cal's 60–59 victory, which was secured when the Cougars missed a field goal at the end of the game.

Washington State has won three straight in the series.
