Snaps Judgments from the Week 9 evening slate. For more check out early Snaps, midday Snaps, SI.com's coverage of Georgia-Florida, Ohio State-Penn State, Notre Dame-Oklahoma, Mississippi State-Alabama and our complete Top 25 review.

• No. 1 Alabama 38, No. 13 Mississippi State 7. There are bad games, and then there are games in which your team's inspirational campaign for an undefeated season gets thrown back at you by a division rival's long snapper.

The Tide raced out to a 24-0 lead at the half and added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Mississippi State staved off the shutout with a Dak Prescott-to-Robert Johnson touchdown pass with just over five minutes remaining. T.J. Yeldon led the Tide rushing attack with 84 yards on 10 carries. Andy Staples was on the scene.  [BOX | RECAP]

• Washington 20, No. 7 Oregon State 17. One really good time for an offense to avoid getting a delay of game penalty is when that offense is facing fourth-and-14 with 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter, down three points with an undefeated season on the line. Fourth-and-19 is a lot harder to convert! [BOX | RECAP]

No. 5 Notre Dame 30, No. 8 Oklahoma 13. Stewart Mandel was at the game in Norman; his report is on SI.com. Landry Jones completed 35-of-51 passes for 258 yards, his highest single-game output of the season -- and he threw zero touchdown passes, also a 2012 first. [BOX | RECAP]

• No. 19 Stanford 24, Washington State 17. The Cougars led in the second quarter, took a tie into halftime and threatened late with a Jeff Tuel touchdown. But Washington State never quite got far enough ahead of the Cardinal. Tuel completed 42-of-60 pass attempts for 402 yards and was sacked nine times. Did you read that in the Ferris Bueller principal's voice? We did! [BOX | RECAP]

No. 22 Texas A&M 63, Auburn 21. Johnny Football had himself a little night on the Plains, recording 260 passing yards, 90 rushing yards and five total touchdowns. The Aggies outrushed Auburn's entire offensive output, 352 yards to 335, and sacked Tigers quarterbacks Kiehl Frazier and Clint Moseley five times. [BOX | RECAP]

• Nebraska 23, No. 20 Michigan 9. Do you like foot-based scoring flurries? Then you'll love this game, in which Wolverine Brendan Gibbons and Husker Brett Maher combined for six field goals in the second and third quarters, two of which were from longer than 50 yards. Kicky! [BOX | RECAP]
