Maryland received a bit of good news on Tuesday when quarterback C.J. Brown was granted a medical waiver for a sixth season of eligibility, the Baltimore Sun reports. Brown suffered two season-ending injuries in his career with the Terps, breaking his collarbone during the 2010 season and tearing his ACL just before the start of the 2012 campaign, when he was the presumptive starter for Maryland. Brown has thrown for 842 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions throughout his career.
