Ohio State's first real test of the season may have just gotten a little bit tougher. Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller is not in uniform for Saturday night's game at Cal after suffering an MCL injury against San Diego State last week. Ohio State coach Urban Meyer declined to comment on Miller's status all week, but fans know how these things work: Coaches don't want to give their opponents any extra information that could help with preparation. Backup Kenny Guiton will start in Miller's place. Guiton showed a lot of skill running the option against the Aztecs last weekend, but he's certainly not a playmaker on the level of Miller. Cal is an extremely young team, and first-year coach Sonny Dykes has a long way to go before the Bears become a Pac-12 contender again. Still, this clash suddenly got a lot more interesting in Berkeley.
