BYU running back Jamaal Williams was carted off the field after suffering an apparent head injury during the Cougars' game against rival Utah on Saturday.
With Utah holding a 13-3 lead with just under eight minutes left in the third quarter, Williams landed awkwardly on his head after a helmet-to-helmet contact with a defender. Medical personnel attended to Williams for several minutes before he was carted off the field on a stretcher.
ESPN reported that Williams would be transported to nearby Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, and he was moving his hands as he was transported to the hospital. https://twitter.com/BYUGameNotes/status/381644250904948736
