Oregon running back De'Anthony Thomas will miss Saturday's game at Colorado, Aaron Fentress of Comcast SportsNet Northwest reports.

Thomas injured his right ankle on the opening kickoff in the No. 2 Ducks' 55-16 win over Cal last weekend. He returned to the sidelines in the second half on crutches.

Despite missing almost the entire game against the Bears, Thomas is still Oregon's leading rusher this season with 338 yards and six touchdowns. As a team, the unbeaten Ducks lead the country with 332.5 rushing yards per game, with running back Byron Marshall and quarterback Marcus Mariota each rushing for at least 295 yards this season.

Colorado is 2-1 this fall, and is coming off a 44-17 loss to Oregon State in its Pac-12 opener. The Buffaloes beat Colorado State and Central Arkansas to open the season.
