West Virginia athletic director Oliver Luck is expected to be named to the College Football Playoff's impending selection committee, according to a report from CBS' Jeremy Fowler. According to Fowler, the committee, which will select the four teams to participate in the upcoming College Football Playoff set to begin after the 2014 season, will include at least one sitting athletic director from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC.
Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich is considered the "clubhouse leader" to be the representative for the ACC, a source told Fowler.
Both Luck and Radakovich declined comment to CBSSports.com, while College Football Playoff athletic director Bill Hancock would not confirm or deny those being considered for the committee, which is expected to include between 12-18 members.
Last week, Hancock told reporters that the College Football Playoff could announce the members of the committee as soon as the end of the current regular season.
