Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez and USC athletic director Pat Haden are expected to be named to the College Football Playoff selection committee, Dennis Dodd of CBSSports.com reports.
On Wednesday Jeremy Fowler of CBSSports.com reported that each of the five power conferences is likely to have one representative on the committee for the upcoming playoff, which kicks off after the 2014 season. Sources told Fowler that West Virginia athletic director Oliver Luck is expected to be the Big 12's representative. It appears Alvarez and Haden would represent the Big Ten and Pac-12, respectively.
Fowler also reported that Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich is the "clubhouse leader" to represent the ACC.
The selection committee, which is expected to include 12-18 members, will be tasked with selecting the four teams to participate in the College Football Playoff. Last week College Football Playoff executive director Bill Hancock told reporters that the members of the committee could be officially announced as soon as the end of the current regular season
