Nick Saban is reaffirming his commitment to Alabama.

In light of recent reports once again linking the Crimson Tide coach to a potential job opening at Texas, Saban assured ESPN's Tom Rinaldi on Wednesday that he intends to stick around in Tuscaloosa.

"Well I don't know where these reports come from," Saban said. "I've sort of addressed the situation before. I'm totally committed to the University of Alabama, looking forward to the game we have this week and all my focus has been on LSU and what our team needs to do to play their best."

A Tuesday report from the Associated Press cited Saban's agent, Jimmy Sexton, as saying Texas "is the only job Nick would possibly consider leaving Alabama for" in a phone call in January. Sexton reportedly made the comment during a 45-minute call with former Texas regent Tom Hicks and current regent Wallace Hall.

Saban has previously addressed rumors that he would consider replacing longtime coach Mack Brown at Texas, who has come under scrutiny this season. When asked in September if he'd consider leaving Alabama, Saban said he's "too damn old" to start over at a new school.
