Florida's injury problems got bigger this week with the loss of offensive tackle Tyler Moore, who will miss the rest of the season with a broken right arm, according to John C. Cotey of the Tampa Bay Times.
Moore suffered the injury in a scooter accident Tuesday night.
Moore's injury is the latest in a series that has decimated the Gators' roster, especially along the offensive line. He became the starter at right tackle in fall camp after a season-ending injury to Chaz Green (shoulder). Later, Moore moved to left tackle to replace injured D.J. Humphries (knee).
The offensive line is at the heart of Florida's offensive struggles. The Gators average 334.6 yards per game (110th in the country) and 4.89 yards per play. They have also given up 21 sacks this season; only Vanderbilt has surrendered more (26) in the SEC.
