Video: Auburn beats Georgia on Ricardo Louis' miraculous 73-yard touchdown catch

(Via The Big Lead)

After storming back from a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit, Georgia took a late 38-37 lead over Auburn when quarterback Aaron Murray ran five yards for a touchdown with 1:49 remaining. That set the stage for what likely was the most dramatic play of the 2013 season.

With 36 seconds left, on fourth-and-18 from the Tigers' 27-yard line, Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall uncorked a desperation heave down the center of the field. It deflected off the hands of Bulldogs safety Josh Harvey-Clemons and landed in the outstretched arms of Tigers sophomore receiver Ricardo Louis, who sprinted into the end zone for an improbable score. Auburn won 43-38 to improve to 10-1 (6-1 SEC) heading into an Iron Bowl showdown with No. 1 Alabama on Nov. 30.

The play sparked emotional responses on both sidelines, and the Bulldogs' coaches took the play particularly hard.

The Auburn radio call is also fun.
