Missouri quarterback James Franklin is listed as the Tigers' starting quarterback heading into Saturday's matchup with Ole Miss, Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Coach Gary Pinkel said last week he expected Franklin to return to the starting lineup against the Rebels.

Franklin injured his shoulder in Missouri's 41-26 win over Georgia in Athens on Oct. 12. Redshirt freshman Maty Mauk started the following week in a win against Florida and guided the Tigers to a 3-1 record in the weeks without Franklin. In Missouri's last two games, Mauk threw eight touchdowns and no interceptions in wins over Tennessee and Kentucky.

Franklin made a brief appearance in the fourth quarter of last weekend's 48-17 win at Kentucky, playing in two series. Including the Georgia game, the senior led Missouri to a 6-0 start before being sidelined. He's thrown for 1,577 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions in 2013 alongside 290 yards and three scores on the ground.

Pinkel told reporters on last week's SEC coaches' teleconference that Mauk will still play despite Franklin's return.

“Maty will definitely play. There’s no question about that,” Pinkel said. “He’s certainly earned the right to do that. It’s a very positive situation. We’ll determine how much (he plays) when we get in that phase of game week.”
