The new Baylor Stadium -- complete with its boat-up parking options -- is nearly halfway completed. A new video takes us inside the stadium 276 days before it opens when the Bears host SMU on Aug. 31, 2014.

With about 90 percent of all concrete work and 70 percent of the steel structure wrapped up, we get to see how the sun canopy -- which will also work as a way to keep fan noise directed back inside the stadium -- will finish off the look at the top of the stadium. Right now, the field is a mess of equipment and dirt. But once crews can clear out of that space, it will take just three months to build the playing surface.

The peek inside already gives a taste of what the $260 million, 45,000-seat venue designed by Populous will look like, whether you moor your boat in one of the nearly 30 slips at the stadium or not.
