A Michigan State football commit body-slammed a security guard at his high school on Wednesday, police told Detroit's WXYZ Channel 7 News.

A cell phone video allegedly shows Jayru Campbell, a quarterback at Detroit's Cass Technical High and a verbal commitment in the Spartans' 2015 recruiting class, body-slamming a school security guard to the ground in a hallway. According to the report, Cass Tech football coach Thomas Wilcher confirmed that Jayru did "get into trouble at school [on Wednesday]," but the coach declined to elaborate.

Campbell is already suspended for the beginning of the Technicians' 2014 season for punching an opposing player in the handshake line after his school's state semifinal playoff loss last fall. The 6-foot-3, 187-pound rising senior is the ninth-ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2015, according to Rivals.com, and led Cass Tech to state titles as both a freshman and a sophomore.
