Florida State added another potential star to its offense when five-star receiver Ermon Lane announced his commitment to the Seminoles on Wednesday.

Lane had narrowed his college choices to Florida State and Florida but took an official visit to Tallahassee last weekend, leaving most to assume he'd sign with the Seminoles. The Homestead, Fla., native is also reportedly good friends with five-star running back Dalvin Cook, who has already enrolled and is on campus.

Lane joins another five-star receiver in Travis Rudolph -- another early enrollee -- in this class. Florida State still could add four-star wideout Javon Harrison on Signing Day if they can flip him from Virginia Tech. The Seminoles boasted perhaps the most talented receiving corps in college football in 2013, but star Kelvin Benjamin -- who caught the winning TD in the BCS title game -- opted to skip town early for the NFL. The 6-foot-2 Lane could be a nice addition to this offense, and could turn into a prime target for Heisman-winning quarterback Jameis Winston.
