The American Athletic Conference released its full 2014 football schedule on Tuesday.

The AAC will kick off next season with Temple at Vanderbilt on Aug. 28. The schedule includes 44 conference games; 80 percent of the AAC's conference-controlled games will be featured on national networks, including ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews and CBS Sports Network.

Along with Temple at Vanderbilt on the opening weekend, the AAC's 2014 schedule includes a handful of other notable non-conference matchups: UCF vs. Penn State in Dublin, Ireland (Aug. 30); Oklahoma at Tulsa (Sept. 6); and UCF at Missouri (Sept. 13).

Along with the SEC and the Big Ten, the AAC was the only conferences with two 12-win teams (UCF and Louisville) in 2013. The Cardinals, however, have since departed for the ACC. The Knights, meanwhile, finished the season ranked 10th in the country after a 52-42 win over Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl, Central Florida's first BCS victory.
