LSU coach Ed Orgeron said on his weekly Wednesday SEC teleconference that right tackle Austin Deculus is "very questionable" to play at Ole Miss this weekend.

That actually is a step in the right direction for Deculus, who Orgeron called "doubtful" on Monday. Deculus went out of the game a few times in the Tigers 46-41 win over Alabama Saturday night but was ultimately able to return.

"Things look a little bit brighter and there's maybe a possibility he plays if we need him," Orgeron said. "We're not so sure yet, I'd say he's 50/50 right now."

If Deculus is unable to go, a likely plan is to move Adrian Magee from left guard to left tackle, Badara Traore over to right tackle and slip Ed Ingram at left guard against Ole Miss.

Safety Kary Vincent Jr. was also injured in the Tigers win over the Crimson Tide and Orgeron called his status "questionable" for the Ole Miss game as well.

Orgeron was also asked about his team being ranked No. 1 in all three of the major polls (CFP, AP, Coaches) and what his player's reactions have been to those rankings.

"It's something we don't talk about in meetings, it's something everybody sees and knows but I look at it and move on," Orgeron said. "I do believe that's where you want to be at LSU and you have to accept it. Right now we're No. 1 in the country but that doesn't mean anything going into Ole Miss."

Orgeron was later asked if personally this was his greatest win as a head coach.

"Our team, yes, as far as me, it doesn't matter," Orgeron said. "I'm for this team, I'm for this state and it's never going to be about me."
