STILLWATER -- For the second time in as many days, Oklahoma State football has landed a commitment in the 2020 class. Sawyer Goram-Welch out of Longview (TX) High School took to Twitter Tuesday evening to make the announcement.

"First I would like to say I appreciate all the relationships I've built with coaches over this process, and I'm glad to say I'm official committed to Oklahoma State #GoPokes"

Goram-Welch marks the third defensive line commit in the 2020 class joining Denton (TX) Guyre tackle Grant Mahon and Northwest Mississippi C.C defensive end Tyren Irby

Sawyer Goram-Welch is a 6-4, 278-pound defensive tackle out of Longview, TX and he committed to Oklahoma State over SMU, Illinois, Purdue, Air Force, Memphis, Oregon State and Texas Tech among other schools.

"They're a consistent winning program. I like the coaches and everything," Goram-Welch told Gabe Brooks of 247Sports. "It's a good atmosphere. Stillwater is kind of like Longview, so that's a big thing. Big fan base and big support and all that."

According to Brooks, Goram-Welch is on track for a December graduation and enrolling early at Oklahoma State.

Through the first six games of the season, Goram-Welch has helped the Lobos of Longview to a 6-0 record and has had an outstanding start to his senior season. He's recorded 32 total tackles, eight for loss and four sacks. Goram-Welch also played a big role in Longview going undefeated last season, 16-0, and winning the Texas Class 6A Division II state title.

During his junior season, he recorded 65 total tackles, 15 for loss, five sacks and three forced fumbles.

Goram-Welch checks in as a three-star prospect and is listed as the No. 933 overall ranked prospect in the country, the No. 75 ranked defensive tackle and the No. 129 overall prospect in the Lone Star State according to the industry generated 247Sports Composite.
