A day after he was removed as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi was reinstated by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, JAAG TV reports.
All the decisions that the goverment of Pakistan made regarding the Board, including removing Sethi, and appointing judge Jamshed Ali Shah as the interim chairman, have been reversed.
More from NDTV Sports:
Sethi insisted he had no intention of staying in the job long-term.
"I have no desire to hold onto the post but would like to complete the tasks handed to me by the prime minister," Sethi told reporters outside the court.
"The court considered my point of view and has allowed me to continue in my role until the matter is finally settled."
The next hearing is scheduled for July 21.
