Renaud Lavillenie is one of the most successful pole vaulters in the entire world. The Frenchman won a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics, and he's captured multiple European and World medals as well. So it should not come as a shock that he can pull off some pretty amazing feats when it comes to pole vaulting. 

But this is just insane.

Recently Lavillenie decided to really go outside the norm when it comes to pole vaulting, not only launching himself at an insane height, but finishing off the entire routine with a perfect mid-air backflip.
