Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2013: Your Guide to Launch Week

And so it begins. With the release of this trailer, the most ambitious year in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit history has officially kicked off. It'll be a busy week for us, with several new digital launches, multiple red carpets spanning the country, a David Letterman appearance or two, the release of a new app, and a model-packed, 45-minute live show on SI.com leading up to one of the most spectacular live presentations ever attempted. Meet The Swimsuit Editors (Feb. 12, 2:30 p.m. ET): Live from New York, Swimsuit Editors MJ Day and Darcie Baum will discuss the process of putting together the 2013 Swimsuit issue and answer questions from fans on fashion, what it was like to shoot on all seven continents and much more!

LAS VEGAS LIVE: OUR BIGGEST EVENT EVER!

We'll be coming to you live from poolside at the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas where model Chrissy Teigen and SI.com managing editor Matt Bean will host a live show powered by Lexus featuring model interviews, clips from our upcoming Travel Channel behind-the-scenes show, sit-downs with creative director Chris Hercik and senior Swim editor MJ Day, and more. The climax: An event so big, you'll have to see it to believe it.

SWIMSUIT RED CARPETS

The action continues at our cross-continental launch party schedule, starting at Crimson in New York City on Tuesday night. From there, we'll hit Nobu in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino Wednesday night, and then head to Marquee in The Cosmopolitan Hotel for a second red-carpet event featuring all of the models. Thursday night, we'll head to 1OAK in the The Mirage Hotel & Casino for our third red-carpet and (phew!) finally, we'll hit The Bank in the Bellagio Hotel where a select group of models will walk the red carpet.
