Oscar Pistorius Appears On Dramatic Cover Of Time Magazine

Oscar Pistorius appears on the front of this week's Time magazine.

The cover story by Alex Perry, the magazine's African bureau chief, addresses the Pistorius saga within the broader context of South Africa's culture of violence and complex history of race relations and inequality.

The dramatic full-length photo of Pistorius was shot by Pieter Hugo and first used in The New York Times last year. It's accompanied by the headline: Man Superman Gunman.
