Galatasaray Fans Didn't Like A Prediction They Heard On TV So They Stormed The Station

Galatasaray, champions of the Turkish league, are decided underdogs against Real Madrid today in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie (2:45 p.m. ET, Fox Soccer Channel).

No shame in that: the reigning Spanish champs are one of the richest clubs on the planet with a laundry list of global superstars at the ready.

Only fans of the Istanbul club don't quite see it that way.

When pundits on the Turkish TV channel Beyaz had the impunity to predict a Real Madrid victory in today's game, a mob of 30 to 40 Galatasaray fans attacked the station with sticks, stones and other missiles. The conflagration with the network's security guards was caught on CCTV.
