Last week Seattle Times writer Thanh Tan called on Dennis Rodman to step in on behalf of Kenneth Bae, a Korean-American tour guide imprisoned for allegedly committing “hostile acts” against North Korea. It's a cruel world when Dennis Rodman's the best hope we've got. Nevertheless, despite Tan's own acknowledgement that the plea "might be a stretch," Rodman actually responded:

Hopefully, for Bae's sake, North Korea's dictator -- "Kim" -- is in a solid-doing mood. I suppose that, given the dire circumstances, it was pretty gracious of Dennis Rodman to take a break from whatever it is that Dennis Rodman does now:
