Tuesday's A.M. Hot Clicks
First, Maple Leafs fans watched their team blow a two-goal lead in the final 1:22 of regulation. Then, they saw the completion of their team's Game 7 collapse against the Bruins six minutes into overtime. This is what the scene in Toronto looked like when Boston put home the game-winner on Monday night. This is a look at the wave of emotions Maple Leafs fans went through during the game. Meanwhile, Bruins fans almost tore down the TV set where the local postgame show was taking place.
While the Leafs and Bruins brought excitement, the Capitals didn't put up much of a fight in their Game 7 matchup with the Rangers. Washington superstar Alex Ovehckin explained that his team had to overcome more than the Blueshirts. He thinks the league pulled some strings -- actually, a lot of strings -- to make sure there was a Game 7.
Heat star Dwyane Wade arrived to last night's game against the Bulls in capri pants. This was gold for the TNT studio crew. Kenny Smith kept screaming, "HE GOT FLOODS!" Shaquille O'Neal, for some reason, started to sing the '80s classic Karma Chameleon. And Charles Barkley said the Heat are the worst dressed team in the NBA.
Canadian actress Jessica Parker Kennedy is the latest person featured in the Me In My Place series. (The Me In My Place app has even more content.) ... It's been two years since Brazilian model Isabela Soncini was featured in Hot Clicks, so we're happy to fix that today. ... Might as well keep the Brazilian theme going. Here's the latest shoot from Fernanda Prada.
Drew Brees and his wife get dressed up to go to the movies. ... Chris Bosh likes to rub his butt during pregame warmups. ... Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright likes to channel the Walk Like an Egyptian video.
Glad to be back for another Hot Clicks' hockey segment. I figured I'd do a second-round preview today. So here goes. (For more hockey talk, you can follow me on Twitter.)
Blackhaws vs. Red Wings: My pick to win the Cup obviously is the team that gets by this round. Too much talent and depth on each side. Prediction: Hawks in 5. MVP: Marian Hossa.
Kings vs. Sharks: This California rivalry should be hard hitting and low scoring. One goal affairs should be the norm. Prediction: Kings in 7. MVP: Jonathan Quick.
Penguins vs. Senators: Even with the Pens goalie situation, I think Pittsburgh's offense will be too much for the Sens to handle. Prediction: Pens in 6. MVP: Kris Letang.
Bruins vs. Rangers: Most intriguing matchup for me. Should be extremely physical with every game coming down to the wire. Prediction: Rangers in 7. MVP: Brian Boyle.
We always enjoy it when the missed/awkward handshake/high five comes naturally, but this video is still solid.
