War Of Words

Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova

Wimbledon started today, but there was PLENTY of action from England over the weekend. Maria Sharapovagot down in the mud with Serena Williams ("If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids") after Williams apparently said some unkind things about her in a recent interview. Serena said she apologized to Sharapova for the controversy while, of course, still playing the "I didn't say those things" card. Finally, Heather Watsoncalled out both Sharapova and Serena for not being friendly on the WTA tour. I now present the following clip without comment.

You Will Watch These Over And Over And Over Again

Here are all of LeBron James' Game 7 shots in one GIF. And here is Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins' celebrating a walkoff win with a DX crotch chop.

Sticky Situation

Every Major League player remembers their first hit. Pirates catcher Tony Sanchez will remember his for a few reasons. Not only did the rookie smack a double against the Angels yesterday, but it got stuck in the outfield wall. Literally, stuck. The guy who had to climb a ladder to retrieve couldn't even yank it out at first.

Catch Of The Weekend*

Lots going on in this video from Sunday's Giants game. The pros: Fan makes a great catch and gets a beer spilled on him. The cons: He used a glove (hence the asterisk above) and threw the ball back on the field.

Sports Video Of The Day

I know 10 minute videos are a no-no in Hot Clicks, but this was too creative to pass up. This was the very funny mega-rant unleashed by Miami radio host Dan LeBatard on Friday after the Heat won the NBA title.

Live TV Video Of The Day

Reporter drops two f-bombs (unbleeped, so lower your speakers if you're at work).  Anchor in studio looks like she might die.
