Weekend Of Walkoffs

Hi, folks. I'm Chris Sesno. Per his monthly routine, Jimmy is picking all his outfits for July today, so I'll be filling in for today's editions of Hot Clicks. If you'd like to yell at me and beg for Jimmy's return, or offer suggestions for P.M. clicks, you can find me on Twitter.

Sunday produced plenty of dramatic finishes in Major League Baseball, including three games with pennant implications that were decided by walkoffs (you can watch them all here): The Marlins were tied in the ninth when backup catcher Jeff Mathis smacked a game-winning grand slam; the Blue Jays leveled the game against the Red Sox with a Jose Bautista homer in the top of the ninth only to crumble under a walk-off error; the Pirates beat the Brewers on a walk-off single in the 14th inning.

The Pirates might have won that game in regulation if not for Brewers outfielder Logan Schafer robbing Pirates first baseman Gaby Sanchez of a homer in the bottom of the seventh inning. That play produced the above picture, which at first glance looks to be a pretty cool action shot of Schafer leaping at the wall to make a great defensive play. But take another look at the photo. There are some great things going on in the stands as well. Click on the photo for a larger version with my annotations, and let me highlight my top five fans:

5. I won't even make a joke here about guy No. 5, but you should never take your eye off the ball. Or do what this guy is doing.

4. This lady makes the list mainly because I haven't seen anyone wear a bucket hat since the '90s.

3. Where the heck is this guy pointing at?

2. Total boss, does not care about this at all.

1. This guy definitely wins the photo. The facial expression and Florida Gator arm chomp are most noteworthy, but don't overlook the fact that a large man is also cowering behind him.

Honorable mentions: The guy who looks like he threw up in his mouth; there's a Jonah Hill lookalike to the left; and the Pirates' event staff employee celebrating in the middle.

Fan Catch Of The Weekend

Normally, I'm of the opinion that it's lame for a grown man to bring a glove to a baseball game. But this Royals fan tumbling backwards to make a great catch has me second guessing that opinion.

Things could have gone way worse when this dog tried to cross the road during the Tour de France.

Coffee Video Of The Day

If you're like me and drink coffee daily, you probably do NOT want to watch this video breaking down what's actually inside the coffee.
