An Ohio Public Golf Course Bought Two of Those Sweet Bubba Watson Hovercraft Carts

It's pretty much impossible to watch that clip without immediately morphing into Veruca Salt mode, stomping your feet and demanding, "I want a hovercraft golf cart nowwwwwww!" Fortunately for some, the administrators at Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio felt the exact same way, and green-lit the purchase of two.

SB Nationreports:

Course officials, who paid $58,000 for each mechanism, had yet to determine a rental rate, a club spokesperson told SB Nation on Monday.

 [...]

"We wanted to be able to offer something no other course could," managing director Pete Duffey said in a statement. "A way to further put Windy Knoll Golf Club on the map of public destination golf courses. It was an easy decision. When we saw them on YouTube, we said 'We gotta have those!'"

$116,000 may seem like a lofty investment, but consider: How much less enjoyable does the alternative--playing regular old golf without jetting around in a badass hovercraft--sound now?
