Catholic Movement Drops Polish Tennis Star Agnieszka Radwanska Over Nude Photos

As far as explicit imagery goes, ESPN the Magazine's annual "Body Issue" is innocuous -- far, far worse is just a click away. (Or so I've heard.) Nevertheless, Agnieszka Radwanska—the world's No. 4-ranked women's tennis player, recent Wimbledon semi-finalist, and devout Catholic—now finds herself in hot water in her native Poland due to some tasteful photos in the buff.
Via AFP:
While not explicit, the nude has proven too much for a Catholic group known as Krucjata Mlodych (Youth Crusade), which runs a campaign dubbed "I'm not ashamed of Jesus". The young Catholics, who claim more than a million followers, dropped Radwanska last week for what they said was "immoral behaviour" in the ESPN spread.
“Personally I am very sorry that someone declaring herself to be on the side of Jesus has at the same time played up to the mentality of those who treat people as just a thing to be looked at,” said Father Marek Dziewiecki.
This is the clip that Ms. Radwanska shot for the campaign in 2011:

A threat to Catholicism if ever there was one.
