My friends would be surprised to know that: I am really into playing and writing music. I've been playing guitar since I was twelve years old and I love to sing. Music is the way I relax and express myself. I have my own YouTube channel and put up new originals and covers of my favorite artists often.

My favorite people to follow on Twitter are: I don't follow too many people on Twitter. Here and there I will keep track of famous people or sports journalists like Jenn Brown. But scrolling through my Twitter feed, I found that I actually follow a lot of news platforms. The New York Times is the one I follow closely. I like to stay up on what is happening in the world. It makes sense since I am an aspiring journalist myself.

The coolest person that follows me on Twitter, or the person I'd most want following me on Twitter: Well, I think if I were to choose one person to follow me it would have to be Zooey Deschanel because she is one of my favorite singers -- I love her band She & Him. She has a lot of talent. I think her and I should be friends.

Celebrity crush? Oh boy, my boyfriend will love this one. I think out of all the hunks out there on the silver screen, I'm going to have to go with Ryan Gosling. I mean, just look at him! It really isn't fair to the rest of the guys in the world. "Hey girl, feel my sweater. Know what it's made of? Boyfriend material."

Three people I’d like to have dinner with, living or dead: I would want to have dinner with my Grandma and Grandpa Essin and my Grandpa "Chainsaw" to tell them how much I miss and love them.

My favorite web sites/blogs are: I like Pinterest because I can't be that creative myself.

My favorite phone app is: I dig Snapchat. Except when I start laughing to myself in public when I get a funny snap. People stare and I am pretty sure they think I'm crazy.

If you looked at “most played” songs on my iPod, you’d see a lot of: You would see a lot of Billie Holiday songs. I love old timey jazz. Maybe some YG gangster rap, too.

If I had to watch one movie or TV show over and over again, it would be: Breaking Bad all the way! I can't believe it's almost over. Is Walt going to be put away for life? Is Jesse going to lose his marbles completely? The world may never know.

My worst habit is: I crack my knuckles. I really should stop but I can't. I get scared because I hear it causes arthritis-- help!

The talent I'd most like to have that I don't currently possess is: I really wish I could have been a ballerina. If I were able to make dancing look that graceful, I think I would dance everywhere I went.

Top 3 items on my bucket list are: Traveling the world -- I've been in Eugene all my life, and it's about time I spread my wings. Another would be helping to solve a world problem or crisis: I have always wanted to volunteer for the Peace Corps or an organization that helps people in other countries to combat poverty or poor health. Also, I want to make my own album: I have done a few tracks at a music studio in Eugene (Studio bCd), but eventually I want to get serious about it and work on a real album.

My favorite professional sports team is: I have to support my Seattle Seahawks! Hopefully they will have a good season again this year. I wish my home state in Oregon had a pro football team! At least we have the Timbers, Blazers and Emeralds. But an NFL team should definitely be added to that list.

The most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me during a game is: One time, at a home basketball game, we were given shirts to throw to the crowd after we made a 3-pointer. I had two shirts rolled up like burritos ready to be thrown at the next fan who could catch it. The first one was caught by a “ducked-out” and well-deserving student. The second one clipped an elderly man's head and his glasses flew off of him. I didn't know what to do except stand there and watch as he looked around like he didn't know what hit him. I'm pretty sure everyone saw and looked at me like I was a horrible person. I'm really sorry, mister.

My one guilty pleasure is:  Bing cherry ice cream from Prince Puckler's, which is located pretty close to Oregon's campus. On the very occasional hot day in Oregon, it is a great way to cool off. It has these really plump and juicy cherries in it -- and sometimes I even get two scoops. Don't tell anyone.

I'd want my last meal to be: My dad's amazing spaghetti would be just right for me. He has a secret ingredient that may surprise you: brown sugar! You have to try it. It isn't as weird as it sounds.
