Monday's A.M. Hot Clicks
With all due respect to a thrilling opening Sunday in the NFL, the highlight of the weekend was Eminem's trainwreck of an interview with Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit during Saturday's Notre Dame-Michigan game. (Herbstreit: "What are you most excited about with this new album?" Eminem: "Nothing.") Musburger, who earlier told viewers to bet the over in tonight's Eagles-Redskins game, had fun with the interview despite Marshall Mathers' bizarre behavior. He did what he does best: asking the singer if he thought his hometown Lions would cover the four-and-a-half point spread against the Vikings on Sunday.
Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd had the catch of the day -- until Packers wideout Jordy Nelson did this. ... Cam Newton sported a pair of Superman cleats. ... Bills fans showed up to Orchard Park in Aaron Hernandez orange jumpsuits. ... Lions rookie tight end Joseph Fauria had a great TD celebration. ... Lions running back Reggie Bush had the coolest touchdown of the day after basically splitting the entire Vikings defense.
Besides Eminem, Notre Dame-Michigan was all about chicken. ... A large Fresno State offensive lineman scored a touchdown on a hook-and-lateral play. ... USC fans are already fed up with coach Lane Kiffin after losing at home to Washington State, and the paper bags are coming out after one game. ... Cal wide receiver Maurice Harris had the best touchdown catch on Saturday.
U.K. reality star and past LLOD, Lucy Mecklenburgh, is featured in the new issue of FHM. ... Here's the latest work from Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro. ... After seeing this, I can tell you that South African model Nicole Meyer will be featured more often in Hot Clicks.
Astros second baseman Jose Altuve should never, ever, ever stand next to A's first baseman Nate Freiman.
