With Philadelphia hosting San Diego last night, the Phillie Phanatic made his way into the Padres broadcast booth just in time to overhear commentator Mark Grant call Mr. Met the greatest mascot of all-time. This isn't just an offensive statement because the Phillie Phanatic was standing right there. It's patently absurd, even if others agree.

In any event, Grant suffered swift retribution, getting a lesson in tact from an unlikely teacher.
