Nobody Watched the Astros Game on Sunday

Boston Red Sox v Houston Astros

The baseball season is undeniably long, and it can be made even longer when your favorite team is terrible. The people of the greater Houston media market, however, seem to have found a way to speed up those final dog days of the season: stop watching.

The Astros recorded a 0.0 Nielsen rating over the weekend for their 9-2 home loss to the Indians. Those are sub-XFL numbers.

While this rating only really means that none of the 581 Nielsen meter homes in the Houston market watched any of the game, not none of 2.28 million households in the total market.  But a September game for a team in its second consecutive 100 loss season definitely doesn't sound particularly appealing.
