Derrick Rose, attempting a shot on a court built on the port of one of Hong Kong's many islands
Derrick Rose was recently in Hong Kong for an Adidas promotion tour, where he gave an exclusive interview to Milk Magazine, a Hong Kong magazine that is less editorial than a giant catalog of product plugs.
In the interview, Rose did drop a few interesting tidbit and thoroughly plugged his new shoes, a collaboration with fashion designer Jeremy Scott:
"I really like exaggerated patterns and bright colors, similar to Jeremy Scott's designs, but when I actually have to put them on, I get shy about it. So I end up sticking with more casual wear that won't stand out too much, like a gray t-shirt and jeans."
Ever since they came into the league in the same draft, Rose and Russell Westbrook have often had their games compared to one another--both are very explosive, slashing point guards with the same build. Turns out Rose actually shares Westbrook's fashion sense as well, just unlike the flamboyant OKC guard, isn't bold enough to wear the outfits he so admires.
