knight2bob knight1

Steiner Sports currently has a whole spate of Bob Knight's personal items up for auction. The collection includes a bunch of shirts, ties, plaques, paintings, trophies, a walking stick, and books.

Shown above is Richard Nixon's 1985 book "No More Vietnams," with an accompanying signed letter, which reads, in part, "As I put it in the last paragraph of this book, 'No more Vietnams' can mean that we should not try again. It should mean we must not fail again." If only we had adhered to such grand wisdom in Iraq.

The bidding for the book is currently at $53, and the auction closes November 4th. If you find that the final number is too rich for your blood, but cannot bear to go another week without reading the gripping text enclosed within Nixon's book, it's on Amazon Prime for less than four bucks.
