Flimsy Evidence Suggests the Redskins Might Become the Washington Bravehearts

The occasionally-correct sleuths at TMZ got ahold of some trademark and LLC documents registered by wealthy patent investor Aris Mardirossian, who is Daniel Snyder's neighbor and was apparently on the same side as the Redskins owner in a contentious battle with local government over trees. The trademark application specifically asks to use the name "Washington Bravehearts" for the purposes of "entertainment in the nature of football games".
Naturally, nobody would talk to them about it, but one could certainly envision Daniel Snyder opting to name his team based in our nation's capital after a Scottish warrior.
