The Astros have lost at least 106 games each of the last three seasons, and they've become the punch line for just about every joke regarding sports futility.

On Monday night's episode of Jeopardy!, the show made the team the brunt of yet another — about a topic that had nothing to do with baseball.

The clue was: "The large valve used to control wellbore fluids on oil rigs is this 'preventer'; the Astros could have used one."

The answer-in-the-form-of-a-question: "What is a blowout preventer?" Ouch.
