Brett Favre, the offensive coordinator for Mississippi's Oak Grove High, hopes to lead his team to its first state championship when it plays Tupelo on Friday. I know the headline might be a bit much but I had a good theme going with the "of the year" stuff and didn't want to ruin the flow. The real Coach of the Year may be Lawrence Frank, who will now earn $6 million filing daily reports after being removed from Jason Kidd's coaching staff in Brooklyn. That's on top of the $3.7 million he is getting from the Pistons after they fired him with a year left on his deal.
