Someone Paged Nick Saban at the Austin Airport. (It Was a Joke, See?)

Discover BCS National Championship - Press Conference

This morning, someone paged Nick Saban that his car was ready at the Austin–Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas. The Alabama head coach was not, in fact, at the airport -- the intercom announcement was a prank meant to the stoke the flames of endless Saban-to-UT rumors. And it worked:

Of course, now there's a report from NFL.com's Gil Brandt that Saban is close to signing an extension with Alabama. If that is a prank, we'll really be dealing with some superlative mischief.
