Jameis Winston is the overwhelming favorite to win the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night in New York City.

He'll face one of his fellow finalists — Auburn running back Tre Mason — in the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 6, which will be Winston's 20th birthday. But will his own mother even be rooting for him?

Winston is an Alabama native — he went to Hueytown High outside Birmingham — and his mother is apparently an Auburn fan.

"...She’s going to be talking that smack," Winston said to Tallahassee.com. "Hopefully she’ll be wearing garnet and gold instead of orange and blue to the game. And it’s my birthday. … They have some great players, and I don’t want them to ruin my birthday.”
