For the January 10 Heat-Nets match-up, both teams will be wearing jerseys with the players' nicknames on the back. The first official pictures of these jerseys have started circulating, and they're pretty much exactly what you'd expect:
For the most part, the Nets' are pretty characteristically boring ("JJ"? Zzz). At least the Heat did the right thing with the Jesus Shuttlesworth shout out.
Ironically though, it's the one jersey with which the NBA pretty clearly self-censored--Andrei Kirilenko's real nickname, AK-47, is a gun reference--that came out best. The Cyrillic alphabet just looks cool on jerseys.
