Here's the Colts Comeback Visualized as a Poker Hand

KCvIND2

Last month, we featured an image of a poker win as equally unlikely as the Ravens' December 8 triumph over the Vikings. This morning Bill Bowen, the author of the original image, sent us another such win probability helper for the Colts amazing 28-point comeback against the Chiefs.

As you can see above, after the Chiefs went up 41-31, they were the equivalent of a poker player going into the river with a full house against an opponent needing a inside straight flush draw to win. In other words: the Colts did the poker equivalent of drawing the one and only card in the deck they needed to win.

And if that doesn't clear things up, here's the same comeback in Tecmo Super Bowl form. This one doesn't teach you anything about probability, but it's shiny and fun!
