Vanderbilt's push to keep football coach James Franklin from taking another job includes a unique benefit proposed by a school alum. PGA golfer Brandt Snedeker tweeted an offer he hopes Franklin can't refuse: Free golf lessons for life.

Snedeker, a Nashville native and former NCAA All-American, can afford the freebie lessons, having won the 2012 FedEx Cup's $10 million prize and the Tour Championship.

Franklin, who has coached the Commodores to consecutive top-25 finishes, has been linked to college job openings at Penn State, and the NFL's Washington Redskins.
